I stayed at the Holiday Inn Lincoln for one night, and while the location was fantastic, I found the experience quite lacking. The hotel appeared tired and in need of refurbishment, and my room had a poor-quality mattress that affected my sleep. My interactions with staff were generally positive, particularly when resolving a parking issue, but the bar area felt rather uninviting.

I enjoyed my stay overall, especially the hotel's location by the waterfront, which made exploring the area simple. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a great variety of options. However, I did notice some issues, particularly with the communal areas being understaffed, which led to delays during breakfast and some lack of attention in the bar.
